BIOGRAPHY

"I hope my paintings can trigger all your senses..."

Jingjing is a Bay Area-based painter who has been immersed in different art forms since childhood.
Several years ago, she began to rediscover and pursue her passion for creative expression through art after a long hiatus. Since then, she’s been focused on acrylic, oil and mixed media painting and her large canvases are a reflection of her joy and enthusiasm for art.
Her expressive brushwork, colors and wide variety of subject matter demonstrate the delight she takes in creating. She loves nature and draws inspiration from her travels and the spectacular landscapes she’s had the opportunity to see. She also loves abstract painting and sees it as a part of her meditating practice. With her brush in hand, she feels full of possibility and that is her catharsis.

In her spare time, Jingjing enjoys Yoga and Pilates and considers them a form of body art that reconnects her to different art forms that have given her a new awakening and direction in life.
Her art pieces have been exhibited in art shows, such as PAL and LAA annual art shows, and had her first art wall show at the Robert Livermore Community Center on Nov. 2024.
Jingjing got awards in some arts competitions, such as the Alameda County Fair fine arts competition, and several themed International Juried art competitions presented by Teravarna.
